Borrowed & Blue has featured a lovely wedding that I was so pleased to capture!
Spring was so wonderful this year, as you could feel the love in the air. Flowers were sprouting, new relationships were blooming, and new marriages greeted the world. One wedding that made quite an impression this Spring, was Joyce and Chris’ beautiful nuptials. This lovely, modern wedding took place at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, Illinois, providing a unique element that helped make their day one of a kind.
Joyce and Chris’ wedding was such a wonderful event, and it has even been featured on Borrowed & Blue! The modern/urban theme, with a gorgeous navy-blue color scheme left its impression on Spring this year, as the happy couple planned the perfect wedding day to join each other in marriage.
There are so many lovely details to this wedding, and that’s why, here at Christina Wehbe Studios, as a Chicago wedding photographer, I wanted to share the specifics with you. If you are planning your own wedding day, and just need something to spark your creativity, be sure to keep reading to discover more.:
- Choosing unique backdrops. While you and your partner, of course, are the main focus of the photos, it’s still important to consider the other elements of your pictures, such as the backdrop. For example, Joyce and Chris utilized their surroundings and incorporated creative art into their wedding photos. Your photographer is trained to find the best settings within your venue, or even around your venue. If you have a jaw dropping view within your venue, and use it to your advantage and stage your photos accordingly. If there are more innovative settings surrounding your venue, you can speak with your photographer about taking a short walk to capture photos with these backdrops. Surely, your photographer will be excited and feel up to the task.
- Capture the finer details. Love, passion, romance; you and your partner share it all. You are tying the knot because you want to spend the rest of your life together, and your wedding serves as the perfect celebration for your commitment. You and your partner are the main focus. However, there are a myriad of details that work together to create this special day. Things such as your place cards, blooms and linens can be proudly highlighted within your photos. These details are important, and your photos can help you remember every aspect of your big day.
- Capture the happiness you share as a couple. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that you will be radiating happiness on your wedding day. After all, who wouldn’t be ecstatic to marry the person they are meant to be with for the rest of their life? Smiles, hugs, kisses, and those beaming looks, will certainly brighten up your wedding album!
Capturing Joyce and Chris’ wedding and having it featured on Borrowed & Blue was such an honor. I am proud to spread their happiness, and showcase their heartening wedding details, in hopes of inspiring many other brides and grooms to create their dream wedding as well. Here at Christina Wehbe Studios, as a wedding photographer in Chicago, I believe that every couple deserves a wedding that will give them the happiest start to their marriage.
