FAQ

Portraits and Pesrsonal Branding FAQ

Q: What is the difference between portraits and personal branding sessions?

A: Portrait photography has changed so much now, it has become more vanity fair style photoshoot than the old style portrait sitting. The stunning makeup, the gorgeous hair, the styled cloth and accessories.. the photoshoots are more like a full magazine experience, like a celebrity style photoshoot. Personal branding is a conetmporay professional business portrait of you, we have a unique style and our brand is unique and flourishing in Chicagoland areas.

We will discuss your needs and style in the consultation. You might be that casual glam Calvin Klein model style or the super glam evening gown or maybe the traditional elegance style.. We will discuss your shoot’s expectations and build your experience based on your needs.. I personally always try to add a production of that gorgeous timeless vintage woman to each photoshoot. Also we will discuss what sort of cloth you will bring or if you need help buying or renting gowns, we have a collection of different sizes and colors too.

Q: How much is the session fee? And what does it include?

A: The session fee is $375 and it includes the consutlation, wardrobe consultation and sets preparation, the photoshoot, the reveal, and of course hair and makeup styling.

Weddings FAQ

Q: For weddings, how far in advance should we book a photographer?

A: After securing a venue, hiring a photographer is usually the next on the list, it is typical to try 6-12 months in advance and as soon as you have a date and venue. If you are not the plan it way in advance type, fret not. Check with me for availability.

Q: Will you be photographing the wedding yourself Christina?

A: Yes, I will be the one photographing your wedding.

Q: What is your background, how long have you been a photographer?

A: I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography from the Illinois Institute of Arts. I have been photographing weddings for over ten years and loving every couple I photograph. Weddings are full of love, emotions and happy people who make me love what I do even more!

Q: How many photographers are going to be at our wedding?

A: Most of our collections include two photographers. I will be your main lead photographer.

Q: When and where can we view the photos?

A: Two to three weeks after your wedding day, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to access your private gallery where your photos will be ready to view and download.

Q: Will we be getting the photos in digital format?

A: Of course! You will be receiving the high resolution edited JPEGs from the wedding, and you will also have a licence to print them at your favorite lab or post them online to share your precious moments with the world.

Q: Can we still print them with you and use your professional lab for high quality prints?

A: Absolutely, right in the online gallery, there are many options and sizes for high quality prints for your convenience and they photos will ship to your doorsteps. For canvas collections and collage prints, contact me directly so I help you with the design.

Q: Will you edit all the delivered photos?

A: Yes, all the wedding photos you see on the online gallery are edited. They will be color corrected and ready to print. They will not have a watermark and they will not be resized.

Q: Do you travel?

A: I love to travel! Shoot me an email and tell me about your big wedding plans and we will do our best to make it happen.

Q: What is an engagement/love session?

A: You’ve seen the wedding blogs, the bridal magazines, and the professional looking shots on Facebook of your engaged friends laughing and kissing each other with the sun setting behind them. In the industry, it’s called engagement or love photography, but essentially it’s just a chance for a professional photographer to capture two people in love, who want to share it with the world, or even just between themselves. More than that, it’s an opportunity for you to work with your photographer for the first time. It’s an opportunity for you to see how I shoot and for me to get to know you better as a couple. If you haven’t had a photographer move within inches of you to take a photograph, it can be a bit intimidating at first, it’s a good way for me to help you get comfortable in front of the camera so that there’s no awkwardness on your big day.

Q: How much do you charge for weddings?

A: A full day coverage with Christina is for $3000. If you decided you want more photographers or a bigger album, the price will go up accordingly.

Q: Cool, We’re ready to book, what’s next?

A: We are happy and honored to be your wedding photographer, once the online contract is signed and the retainer is paid, we’re officially your wedding photographers
